I like to help people find unique ways to do things in order to save time & money -- so I write a lot about "outside the box" ideas that most wouldn't think of. Specifically, household tips and life hacks are my jam! I’m also a lifelong dog owner -- so I often share my favorite tips for living with dogs inside your home (including smart home design choices and dog-friendly decorating ideas). When I’m not cleaning, organizing, decorating, or fixing something… you'll always find me at the corner of Good News & Fun Times as publisher of The Fun Times Guide (32 fun & helpful websites).
All you have to do is screw this water filter system on to your kitchen faucet—there are no tools required! The PUR Filter well then remove more than 70 contaminants from your water, including 99% of lead, plus chlorine, mercury, and pesticides. Each filter can be used on up to 100 gallons of water, so the manufacturer recommends replacing the filter every 2 to 3 months. Reviewers say that the unit is sturdy, easy to install, and doesn't leak, providing fresh, clean water every time they turn on the faucet.
Make your managers actually go out on calls once the sales reps are able to run company appointments. Most people in my training class had gone out on 5+ appointments before training was over, yet in our office we did not go on one. I never went to an appointment with my manager, which was rather aggravating and the compensation plan is terrible. No wonder there is such a quick turnover rate with residential sales... reps.
I have no prices to ponder. But I did check out online reviews of the storage and moving options the company offers. Door to Door has three out of five stars on Yelp. Many of the most recent reviewers ultimately chose Door to Door because the price was significantly cheaper among the portable storage container companies. However, many had mixed feelings about the customer experience when discussing the move and storage, so the question of value is up in the air.
Improve indoor air quality with this GermGuardian True HEPA replacement filter for select air purifiers. The activated carbon layer minimizes odors from smoking and pets, while the PetPure treatment uses an antimicrobial treatment to inhibit mold growth and odor-causing bacteria. This GermGuardian True HEPA replacement filter captures even the smallest microns, including pet dander and pollen, for added efficiency.
Indeed, the company spends a significant bit of text explaining what makes their containers strong and durable. The storage containers are made of wood and prevent condensation, mold, and mildew and the cover resists weather, according to the website. It also touts the container's ability to fit into driveways and parking spaces and accommodate apartment and condo loading areas.
The locations are limited and the age of the containers and fleet is not clear. "Some containers are new and some are older," says a customer service representative of the containers, who refrained from answering about the fleet age. But the company is operating a little more than 20 years and markets itself as constantly updating its offerings. I would imagine that includes the trucks and even the forklifts and not just the containers.
I don't want to harp on the issue of whether wood is sturdy enough. Much like other portable storage companies, Door to Door offers mostly wood containers and a weatherproof cover. Many reviewers had no issue with this fact. But a couple of the ones on Yelp mentioned warping and dents, nothing major. And it sounded as though Door to Door responded to fix problems that rested on its shoulders. But if protecting your stuff is of the utmost importance, then you might be more inclined to pick a metal container over a wood one. It's a matter of preference and priorities. In the case of Door to Door, which seems to put all the responsibility on the shoulders of the customer when it comes to the care of the stuff held in the container (read the terms and services) and has no visible insurance plans on the website, the type of container may be elevated in importance.

Most importantly, you and your family will breathe fresh air and avoid harmful airborne allergens and viruses.

Many new energy efficient homes come with HRV’s. These provide a source of fresh filtered air into the house and exhaust the stale air. Most route the air in and out of the furnace ducting. HRV’s have several filters including sponge sheets as well as the corrugated core. Vacuuming or washing with soap and water usually does the trick – follow the instructions in the owner’s manual. Sometimes instructions are labelled inside the unit too. These filters are very important for air quality in today’s newer, tighter houses.
On the other hand, college students who had used the moving service reported lots of back and forth because the company said it had "overbooked" and could not deliver their stuff to them on time. In the end, the students ended up paying movers to pick up their stuff and spent more than they had planned, according to a review posted by Hali M. in Stanford, CA.
I was put in dangerous areas going to door to door and it is not safe. Outside all day long (depends where you live) I live in FL so it was brutal. Work 6 out of 7 days a week. When you get out of your training period you are ordered to "walk" with new recruits, but by doing so when you go and show them how to sell while they are supposed to watch, no talk or do anything, you have to split your entire sale 50%... with the person you are teaching. Commission is a horrible percentage of the total value of what you are selling (only 150$ for a 1,600$ system.) You get 150 working alone and walking with someone you have to split the commission. A promotion is not really a promotion. They promote you as a team leader but you are not allowed to walk and makes sales only assist over the phone to make sales and make less money with more responsibility.
