Some of my goods were damaged clearly during transportation. Additionally, it was impossible to arrange delivery and pick up times once you picked your day. (This inconvenienced the buyers of my home, as the storage containers sat in front of the house until 5pm despite closing at 10am.) However, I booked them for their convenience and their customer service is great.

MERV 13: A MERV 13 air filter however will capture even smaller dust particles, dirt, pollen, mold spores, pet dander and more from your home's air. A MERV 13 air filter is great for people with regular allergies and who own multiple pets. The MERV 13 filter is typically more expensive and will also put more strain on your HVAC system, however the high quality filtration you will get will be well worth it.
They seem to be all over Ontario now. Unfortunately I "worked" for them for half a day before walking out on the "trainer" and calling him out on his scamming bullshit, and almost punching him in the face. Their whole pitch is designed so that they don't give you a chance to respond, and just force their way into your basement and into your home. DO NOT LET THEM IN!!!

The locations are limited and the age of the containers and fleet is not clear. "Some containers are new and some are older," says a customer service representative of the containers, who refrained from answering about the fleet age. But the company is operating a little more than 20 years and markets itself as constantly updating its offerings. I would imagine that includes the trucks and even the forklifts and not just the containers.

Washing your K&N washable air filter is as simple as removing your filter from its housing, spraying on K&N home air filter cleaner (part no. 99-6010), and rinsing with a low-pressure hose! After your filter is dry, simply reinstall to enjoy the benefits of K&N’s industry-leading washable filtration technology. See the full instructions included with your filter for details.

In my experience the powered electrostatic filters remove nearly everything from the air stream. The navy uses these on submarines to take the pollutants out of the air, in this usage we washed them monthly due to the amount of things they pull from the air. I have had a big Honeywell system on one house I have owned - it was the only house that never had a dust problem. The filter pulled everything from the air. Every 2 or 3 months I would run the cells through the dishwasher then give them a quick look for broken wires. An hour with the blower on and the power off drys them then back on with the power for another 3 months.

They advertise that they will be compensating a $52,000 Base Salary plus commission after hiring. All of a sudden everyone is excited about their base check every week until they bring you into orientation and tell you that you have to pass a test. After then until you are eligible for the base salary. You have to make five door to door sales and you are dropped off in in the middle of South Phoenix by yourself with... no help. Keep in mind that this is in the Arizona heat and they do not pick you up until 8:00 pm. These people are nothing but scam artists and have you working like dogs. YOU WILL HAVE NO LIFE!!! and the best part is that do not pay you for any training. People please do not waist your time. I have a college education and understand that when an employer tells you that you are going to be compensated a $52,000 salary they do not place stipulations thereafter. They are nothing but crooks.
One of the draws to Door to Door - besides the colorful, cartoonish characters greeting visitors to the website - is the blog. It is chock full of useful information about travel to some of the cities it serves, spring cleaning tips, and even antiquing in various cities. I would read it without having to make a move. Seriously. Still, despite its pioneering history, the company only serves a limited public because of the limitations of its geography.
For selfish reasons, I was a bit relieved I did not have to give Door to Door my credit card number. If I failed to cancel the order at least a week before the scheduled drop-off date, I would have been charged. Yikes. If you cancel within that seven-day-prior period, you forfeit your deposit. If you cancel when the driver arrives at the initial location, you give up the deposit and delivery fee. Ouch. In fact, the FAQ on the site suggests you give as much notice as possible if you are canceling. Some competitors, however, allow people to cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
Despite anything, management tells you. By accepting this job you have decided you are a door to door salesman. Did not start this way, new management in the last few years has run this company reputation into the ground. No more company appointments, they expect you to sell all your family and then become a door to door salesman. 100% commission, job that requires you to work 6 days a week. Just a matter of time... for the lawsuit. Same goes for Chatsworth and Anaheim offices. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. You will burn through your savings.
This 14” x 30” x 1” Odour Eliminator Air Filter has activated carbon for furnace-MERV 8 and AC HVAC. It eliminates odours from cooking, pets and smoke allowing only clean air to enter your home. Also, it enhances indoor air quality as it traps pet dander, pollen, lint, debris, and dust. Moreover, made in the USA and last up to three months. Therefore, you should replace them regularly for maximum performance.
For those on private well water, like my family, the situation can be even more problematic. Wells are often the source of water contaminated with modern agricultural products including fertilizers, glyphosate-based herbicides like Roundup and pesticides. It can also contain high levels of bacteria such as E-coli, can have excess calcium and magnesium contributing to hard water, rust that discolors laundry and bathrooms, and be very toxic with heavy metals such as arsenic, mercury and more.
Undergravel filters sit below the gravel (yet another filter name that leaves nothing to the imagination) and suck water and debris through the gravel. The idea is that the debris will get trapped in the gravel. Then the debris-free water passes up through the tubes. An airstone and air pump are attached to the top of the tube to create the suction.
The body, which is often called the canister, is significantly larger for these filters than it is for other types of filters. Each canister will have locations to hold each different type of filter media, and the large canisters will have more filter media. This type of filter does take more effort to set up and maintain, in exchange for its power and flexibility.

Hello. I have a 30 gallon tank I clean religiously every Monday to keep optimal and healthy happy fish. Freshwater with a couple mollies “Pearl, Spot and Elvis”, 2 guppies “Nemo and Dory”, an albino Plecko “Dart”, a bristlenoe Plecko “Dino” (very lazy and doesn’t do anything for my tank hence the albino plecko lol), and a community Betta “Cinderella” (yes that’s right a Betta in with my other community fish). She loves to play in the water flow from the side hanging filter BUT I can’t stand the noise it makes constantly like a waterfall. I was hoping for something a bit quieter but not to much it would hurt Cinderella’s scales. Also the bettas eat so slow with side hanging filtration I have to turn it off at every feeding to allow her time to eat otherwise as slow as she eats all her food just gets pulled away and she goes hungry and I need something I can trust to not harm her AND allow her food to rest at the top to eat comfortably. Also I’m on disability so the more affordable on upkeep such as replacement filters I NEED to keep in mind because this side hanger the filters are getting expensive. I need to change them every other week because they have become so cheaply made that cleaning them just doesn’t get the job done but once MAYBE twice now. Thanks in advance.

Check the outside of the  housing for buildup of debris, which can impact the efficiency of the unit.    Grass clippings and dryer lint particularly can foul the grates.  Be careful not to dent the heat exchanger fins, if exposed (more common on older units).   These look alot like a car radiator, or the outside of a window A/C unit.   Keep the area around the unit free of plants and materials, to help the air to flow freely for best efficiency.

People moving to and from tiny houses and small apartments might not be concerned when a portable storage container offers only one size container that fits about a room or a room and a half's worth of stuff. But those of us moving from larger homes must take this into consideration. Door to Door's standard moving container is 56 inches wide by 93 inches long by 77 inches tall on the inside. Its door opening is 46 inches wide by 74 inches tall. You can fit about one room of stuff in there, maybe a little more, according to the website. PODS has really spoiled people because it offers different sized containers. Now, I should mention that, according to the customer documents on the site, Door to Door also has an alternative wood container and an alternative metal container, which are at least slightly taller. But they are not available in every market and they are not highly publicized. I only stumbled upon them by scouring the customer documents, such as terms and services and an addendum about the specifics of the company offerings.

There’s no co-mingling or transferring. Your belongings stay put until we deliver to your destination. And there’s one household shipment per trailer. Any space you don’t use is used to ship commercial goods moving in the same direction. Trailers are equipped with secure divider walls (most are lockable), and you can put your own lock on your ReloCube and keep the key.
Getting an exact fit is crucial to having an effective air filter - the wrong size won't fit and will cause the filter to stop working properly. To ensure you get the right fit, take your current air filter out and check the size printed on the frame. And if you need a custom sized filter, The Home Depot has you covered. We also offer an air filter subsciption. Check out some air filters that are air filter subscription eligible.
A common concern was damage done to the container. One was warped by move's end and the other had to be fixed after a forklift accident. The containers are moved using forklifts, which has its pros and cons. On the negative side, the forklift can be accident prone, especially if the professional handling it is new to this game. On the bright side, one reviewer, Suzanne S., who had moved from Berkeley to Boston, wrote the forklift was a lifesaver when navigating narrow, congested streets.
There is absolutely no mention of insurance on the website. I even read the customer documents and saw nothing about it. This doesn't mean there is no insurance option. I just did not get to go through with the reservation process, so it's entirely possible you can purchase insurance with Door to Door. But most competitors at least offer some information about insurance - at the very least whether it's available - on the website, so it does not bode well.
To help put this into perspective, a hair from your head is about 60-75 microns in diameter. Particles under 35 microns are not visible to the naked eye. You can’t see most of the contaminants in the air. Pollen particles can range from 10 to 100 microns in size; dust from 0.5 to 5 microns; human dander, 10 microns or higher; etc. The majority of harmful particles are less than 5 microns in size.  Source
Regularly changing your air filter is an easy way to keep your furnace or A/C running efficiently – especially during peak seasons. A fresh home air filter will help extend the life of your HVAC unit and reduce maintenance costs over time. Most importantly, you and your family will breathe fresh air and avoid harmful airborne allergens and viruses.
Door to Door went into bankruptcy while my containers were in transit from Austin, TX to Sacramento, CA. There was NO communication from them as to where my containers were and WHO would deliver them. I googled them to find out what the heck happened to them.......no one would respond to emails or phone calls. I spent 6 weeks tracking them down and finding out that UHaul had bought them out of bankruptcy! I had to physically walk the UHaul container yard to FIND my containers. This was the WORST moving experience ever imagined.
